Dr.
Mohammad Abdullah All Qayyum (Dr. MAAQ) is an internationally known and one of
the greatest pioneer of of medical publication in Bangladesh and inventor of Dual Language Medical Book System (English-Bengali) .
Dr. Mohammad Abdullah All Qayyum born in 9th April of 1981 in
Sherpur District of Bangladesh. His
father Md. Samedul Islam was a police officer and his mother was a house
wife. His paternal residence is located
at Ramkrisnopur village in Chorsherpur Union at Sherpur Sadar Upozilla in
Sherpur District.
From the childhood Dr. Mohammad Abdullah All Qayyum was meritorious.
In spite of changing Schools due to transfer of his father he got Primary and
Junior Scholarship. He passed SSC from Sherpur Govt Victoria Academy in 1996
and HSC from Sherpur Govt College in 1998.
Then he got admitted for MBBS equivalent Homeopathic course BHMS under
Dhaka University to Govt Homeopathic Medical College. From here he got medical graduation as fist
class first.
At next he got diploma in Allopathic Medicine and HEC certificate from
India. Other then he was also trained himself in integrated medicine, natural
medicine, food and nutrition, ultrasonography, pathology, medical diagnostic
aid, mother and child health, gynaecology and infertility, asthma nad chest
disease, skin and sexual disorders, neuro medicine, mental disease, tumour and cancer
etc.
As a professional he started his medical practice at Gonosastho Nogor
Hospital, Dhaka. Beside this he also started teaching at Medical Institutes. At last he got self retirement from
professional teaching as an Assistant Professor.
Beside medical practice and teaching he put his concentration to
medical book writing. He invented a new model of medical publication- Dual
language (English-Bengali) medical book. His 125 medical books are published
till today (July-2018). Some of them are read in India. He has wrote book on Anatomy,
Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine and Public Health, Pharmacology,
Blood Banking, Medicine, Surgery, Skin
disease, Venereal and sexual disease, Ear-nose-throat, Pediatrics, Gynaecology
and Obstetrics, Village doctor training, First Aid, Medical Ethics and other medical
subjects of different medical courses.
Now a days he is in medical practice, health research, health training
and writing in his native district Sherpur.
